Free governance guide for incorporated associations

Consumer Protection has released its revised governance guide for incorporated associations.

A free copy of the guide on CD was recently sent to over 13,000 clubs and associations in Western Australia.

INC. A Guide for Incorporated Associations in Western Australia is comprehensive and introduces the various aspects of managing an association, including conducting meetings, employing staff and engaging volunteers. It is also a reference for good governance practices.

Consumer Protection has also created an INC. website, which contains a complete copy of the guide for you to navigate online or to download.

The National Wheelchair Basketball Development League (NWBDL) played its inaugural round last weekend (5–7 March) at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. The weekend was highlighted by a number of hard-fought games, with no matches having a final margin over 10 points.
