More than 35,000 people from 170 schools, 80 workplaces and 50 community groups participated in over 300 walk events across the state, during Walk Week – Walk There Today from 3 to 9 November 2008.

the many benefits of walking and to encourage West Australians to be more
active by walking for transport, health, recreation and the environment.
