Julie previously worked for DSR in 2005 and has rejoined the team after working in a Senior Administration role.

During her time away, Julie completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate III Frontline Management (Business) and is nearing completion of a Certificate III in Community Services.

“The main reasons for coming back to the Department of Sport and Recreation were the structures in place and also job satisfaction,” Julie said.

“Your job is what you make of it, what you get out of it is what you put into.”

Julie’s role as an ISDO will cover programs in the Perth Metropolitan Area, and she will be working alongside state sporting associations, other government agencies and the Aboriginal community to achieve better outcomes for Aboriginal people in our state through sport and recreation.

Welcome back Julie!
