ANZSLA sundowner on the Swan

The Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association (ANZSLA) will be holding a twilight event featuring Darren Beazley, Director of Commercial Operations for the 2011 Sailing World Championships.

ANZSLA sundowner on the Swan The International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Sailing World Championships is a massive coup for Perth and an exciting opportunity for our city to stage.

Mr Beazley will give some facinating insights to the logistics of attracting the event to Perth and of staging the Olympic qualifying event.

The Royal on the Waterfront, East Perth is the perfect location for the sundowner, not far from where all the action will be taking place in 2011, and is open to all members and others interested in sports law and the sports industry.

The sundowner will take place on Wednesday, 9 September, 2009 and numbers are limited so organisers recommend people register as soon as possbilbe on anzsla@anzsla.com.au.

ANZSLA is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing education, advocacy and networking opportunities on legal issues in sport to Australian and New Zealand sporting industries.

Formed in 1990, ANZSLA now has a membership that includes lawyers, administrators, academics and government representatives. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in sport.
