Booking conditions
Bookings can be made up to a maximum of two years ahead.
Deposits
To confirm a booking, please return the completed Booking Details Form, Conditions of Hire Form and the required deposit, within 14 days of making the booking, to:

Cancellation and Booking Transfer Fees
The following cancellation fees apply:
| 6 months or more before arrival date | $30 |
| 3 to 6 months before arrival date: | 50% of deposit |
| less than 3 months before arrival date: | 100% of deposit |
A $30 fee will be applied to each change or transfer of a booking. Deposits or part thereof may be forfeited when a booking is changed or transferred within 2 months of the arrival date.
Accounts and Payment Terms
Invoices will be calculated on the minimum nightly charge or the per person charge, whichever is the greater. They will be forwarded following your stay. All monies are payable within 10 working days of the invoice issue date.
Catering
Accolade Catering provides catering to the Point Walter Recreation and Conference Centre. To organise catering for your stay at Point Walter and other DSR camps please contact Accolade Catering.
Self catering is not available at the Point Walter Recreation and Conference Centre.
The consumption of alcohol during your stay is subject to prior approval by the Camp Manager only.
Special Conditions
Functions: Exclusive use of the site for single night functions will be charged at a minimum of $1250 (Mon–Thurs) or $2000 (Fri–Sun). Please note that this price may vary depending on numbers and room configurations.
Security Bond: Please note that a security bond of $1000 applies to functions involving alcohol that take place in the event spaces.
Arrival and Departure Times
Group leaders must check-in with the Duty Officer upon arrival. Alternative arrival and departure times may be arranged with the Booking Officer.

Departure 2pm
If you wish to vary either arrival or departure times, there will be an additional charge for either.
The Department of Sport and Recreation reserves the right to review these conditions.
