The Junior High Performance Clinic will run on either Tuesday 6th, Wednesday 7th or Thursday 8th July 2010, depending on the best of the three days (the call will be made on Friday 2nd July advising all clinic participants of the chosen date).

Thanks to Brownes Chill and the Department of Sport and Recreation, this clinic is part of a new and exciting initiative aimed at junior surfers to develop their skills and promote the sport to any emerging superstars.

The Peel Region has long been recognised as a breeding ground of some of the State's best surfers, with a new pool of potential talent coming through the ranks.

The Chill Performance Clinics are designed and managed by the best expert surf coaches available in the State, including local Level 2 Coach Pat Moran and Mike McAuliffe. McAuliffe is a multiple Australian National Title holder and has many years of experience he wishes to pass on to junior surfers wanting to develop their free surfing and competition ability.

The one-day clinic will focus on the following areas:

  • Wave usage
  • Waterman skills
  • Technique development
  • Maoeuvre selection
  • Improving your style

Cost is $45 for this clinic and bookings are essential.
