Gala Day 2010.The Indigenous Grass Roots Netball Program is based on weekly training sessions in the lead up to the Gala Day Carnival Member Association Championships, to which they are exclusively invited to attend along with the NAIDOC Carnival which is held in July.

The carnival was a fantastic success, growing from four teams last year to 11 teams this year.

The 2010 Indigenous Grass Roots Netball Programs have continued in Bunbury with the Moorditj Noongar Yorgas, in Northam with Yirra Djinda, in Perth with Woola Woola Koolangka (West Coasters Netball Club), and Mandurah, with Katanning becoming a new site for the program in 2010.

Three competitions were held over the day in a round robin format, in 10 and Under, 13/U, and 17/U divisions, with the event culminating in a final between the top two teams of the division.
