Organized by Community Vision, in partnership with the cities of Wanneroo, and Stirling, the Department for Sport and Recreation, the Metropolitan Migrant Resource Centre and other agencies, Kick it Off will be launched on Thursday 18 March 2010.

Perth Glory legend Jamie Harnwell will officially open the program at the Herb Graham Centre from 5pm to 8pm, and there will be heaps of free food (halal available) and activities.

The program will run every Friday for six weeks following the launch, and according to the program’s Coordinator Daniel Noriega participants only need to turn up on the day.

“They can sign up when they get there. Its pretty easy, all they need is a passion for football,” Daniel said.

“Players will be put into teams on the day giving them a chance to meet some new people and make some new connections outside of their regular group of friends.”
